Ouate

Terms of Use

Dernière mise à jour : August 15, 2026

The service

Ouate is an app for listening to audio sessions — hypnosis, ASMR, meditation, stories, soundscapes — designed for falling asleep, published by MonTatoueur SAS (Masevaux-Niederbruck, France).

With your consent, the app measures the estimated moment you fall asleep, in order to stop the audio and build session-effectiveness statistics.

Account and subscription

Browsing the catalog is free. Listening requires a subscription — with a 7-day free trial — purchased through the App Store or Google Play, at the price displayed at the time of purchase. Creating an account is optional: it lets you retrieve your subscription and history on all your devices, and opens a first free night of listening.

The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time from your phone settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, under their terms.

Creators and their content

Sessions are created by independent creators who retain all their rights. They grant Ouate a distribution license within the service. Creator compensation terms are set by a separate agreement with each creator.

Content is for personal use only: any extraction, reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.

Using the service

Do not listen to Ouate in any situation requiring your attention: driving, operating machinery, supervising others. Sessions are designed to put you to sleep.

You agree not to disrupt the service, nor to attempt to bypass the technical measures controlling access to content.

Health

Ouate is not a medical device. Measurements and statistics are estimates, with no diagnostic value. If you have a persistent sleep disorder, consult a healthcare professional.

Liability and changes

The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it continuously available, without being able to guarantee it. Our liability is limited to the amounts actually paid for the subscription over the last twelve months.

These terms may change; substantial changes are announced in the app. Governing law: French law. Contact: [email protected].
